R2D2!!!! This cake took so much for us to do and almost caused us a few heat attacks. Alida even got up in the middle of the night to check on it. Alida baked 14 8 inch cakes and Brandy kneaded 5 batches of fondant on the hottest day of the year. We had been planning this cake for a few months for our boys that were born within 2 weeks of each other and are best friends. All the work that this cake took was worth it to see the boys' faces that day. This cake was stood over two feet. We used 14, 8 inch cakes and 5 batches of fondant. It took us over 18 hours including bake time.We really have no special tips or tricks for this cake other then planning, team work and patience's pay off!!!
